Well beyond coy (July 27, 2015)

Art Bishop writes (Time for the truth, Daily Press, July 16, 2015), that Apple Valley Ranchos has been coy in addressing the costs associated with its purchase of Yermo Water Company. Bishop needs to take a good look in the mirror.

As a Town council member, Bishop should know that for years the Town has been aiming to seize control of Ranchos. Yet even after all this time, the Town doesn’t know what it is going to be paying for Ranchos, doesn’t know what assets it is going to be receiving for that payment, doesn’t know how to run a water utility, doesn’t know who is going to run the system for the it, and doesn’t know how much it’s going to cost the Town to run the system.

Where I come from, that’s beyond being coy. That’s out-and-out deceptive.
