CPUC: Please grant the joint motion: Application 1411013 (June 18, 2015)

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to ask that you grant the joint motion filed May 29, 2015, in regards Application 14-11-013. With the filing of this motion, it would seem that everyone is in agreement that this application be approved, with the exception of the Town of Apple Valley. However, the Town of Apple Valley has acted in such a devious and mendacious manner regarding Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company (AVRWC) and Liberty Utilities (LU), that I fear they have a secondary agenda that does not bode well for me as a resident of Apple Valley, in terms of either water delivery or future taxation. To put it bluntly, they have mischaracterized or misrepresented virtually every fact pertaining to AVRWC and LU, so no statement issued from the Town is to be trusted.

AVRWC has a long and distinguished history of supplying high quality water to Apple Valley businesses and residents. I trust LU when its representatives promise to retain the current workforce at AVRWC, and to support and augment them aggressively.

The Town, on the other hand, has over the last few years developed a history of fiscal disasters.

Bottom line: We live in a desert. We need the water. Thus, we need grow-ups in charge of producing, delivering, and stewarding that water. LU and AVRWC can do that. The Town of Apple Valley cannot, and its history shows this.

Thank you for your time and attention.
