AVRWC touts 31-percent reduction in water use (September 22, 2015)
For the third straight month since state-mandated water use reductions began, Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company surpassed its conservation target, reducing its overall water production in August by 31 percent compared to the same month in 2013. Ranchos customers are required to reduce water use by 28 percent for the period June 2015 through February 2016, as compared to usage during the same months in 2013. For July 2015, Ranchos recorded a water use reduction of 36.4 percent.
