Representatives of the Town and those in their clique have repeatedly made what I believe to be false accusations that those opposing the Town’s insane jihad against Liberty Utilities are shills, surrogates, attack dogs, etc.

I believe them to be false because I am one of the most vocal opponents of the Town’s proposed hostile takeover, and I have received no compensation whatsoever from either Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company, Liberty Utilities, nor from their parent companies nor from any subsidiaries, directly or indirectly. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Others I know who oppose the Town have told me that neither have they received any compensation, and I find them to be trustworthy.

This request seeks the basis — if any — for these claims.

Update: On October 20, 2016, I received a determination letter from the Town Clerk that states in part, the Town has determined that it does not have any records responsive to your request. In other words, it has no evidence to support its claims, which means that these claims are nothing more than mean-spirited, baseless attacks.
